Freeview

Well after having experienced Freeview for exactly a week now i have decided to do a Freeview review!!!!!!

Most notably it is worth the price:

I got mine for £29.99 from curry's, however it did not come with a scart lead so i also had to purchase that which unfortunately was £15 but I'm sure you could find one for less somewhere other than curry's.

The setup is so simplistic even John could do it with his eyes closed and not even being in the same room as the box its that easy!

It comes with many channels my favourite has to be the newly added E4 and E4 +1. I know for now it is mainly 24/7 Big Brother, but they have made it quite ingenious. They give you the option to watch either the normal programs or Big Brother (if you press the red button) unfortunately if you don't like Big Brother then sometimes it is only Big Brother so well you have like 30 other channels to watch.

The greatest thing for me also has got to be channel 5, for some god known reason in the road that i live i cannot receive channel 5 on terrestrial so freeview is a god send.

The other channels you get include ITV2, ITV3, BBC3, E4, E4 +1, TMF, ABC1, ITV news, SKY news, SKY sports, ITV sports, and a few music channels and also a hell of alot of radio stations and loads of shopping channels and also CBEEBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is however, a downside to the freeview box, or i guess freeview in general, or it might just be me.

In the past week i have had less sleep than if i have ever had in my whole life. I cant stop watching it, at the moment I'm watching big brother, its always on, even if I'm at work i cant turn it off because I'm addicted to it!!!!!!

If you are thinking of buying a freeview box then do so with great care and make sure your not as weak minded as me!
