Human Nature
by Natasha Tombes
Eyes that shone as black as night,
Black crystal shining in the morning light.
Walking through the evening air,
As the people stop to stare.
Looks to all the children straying,
Street destruction but not one playing,
Then he reaches for a knife,
Wishes for strength to take a life.
Thought of murder blood and gore,
Lead him to an open door.
Confidence shown in his stride,
As he takes himself inside,
His scowl seems likie its sent from hell,
He wants to ring the devils bell,
And summon him from a great darkness,
But our strange friend he is not heartless.
Thinking he's sent from below,
Wants to strike a vicious blow,
For only one person, for his master,
Now his steps are getting faster,
His victim is now in his sight,
Alone in a room with not much light,
His prey has no hope to win,
Now in your mirror you see him.
