Site Help
Welcome to the help page for the site. It's becoming quite a vast and confusing place now, so i thought i'd create a page to give information on the main site, then different sub-sites and the forum.
Warning! This site is designed with Internet Explorer 7 in mind, but still works just as well in Internet Explorer 6. It is not designed for Mozilla Firefox, partially because I believe Internet Explorer is a better browser and also because 86% (yes, it is just over 86%) of my viewers use Internet Explorer, and I only want what's best for you guys! I do test it out in Mozilla Firefox for technical issues just to make sure most stuff works fine, but all design issues are handled for Explorer! Just remember that...
The small 'X's just below the menu
If you look to your left you'll see eight (or seven if you're using Firefox) small blue crosses (they look like this: X ). Click on each of them if you'd like, or just the ones that interest you! They take you to (going from left to right):
• Windows Live Messenger Conversation
• Lost Party Invitation (shhh it's a secret!)
• Common Room Fun
• Blank Page
• RankMyHomepage
• Free iPod
• RSS Feed
• Bookmark the current page (in Internet Explorer only)
Menu
The menu is split up into five sections; Site Menu, FAQ/Help, Forum, Cool Links and About . When you click on one of these, the category expands and shows you more pages within that area of the site. Just click on the page you want and the magic will take you here!
Submenus
The submenus that appear on some areas of the site show you even more pages to go to within that section, for example the MSN Messenger Section or the Movies section. Just click on the link you want and you'll be zapped here straight away, and the submenu will also be on that page so that you can easily navigate yourself around without worrying about getting lost! The submenu appears below the main menu.
Cooljohng's Forum
The forum is quite a large active message board with many different topics spreading from anything such as Religion, the Morals of Sex to The Sopranos and Lost! It is based upon the PHPBB2 code, with a few moderations made to make it even better, including a Moudly Waffle Counter...
What is a Moudly Waffle? Well, a Moudly Waffle is a Waffle that has been left too long... and is awarded to members of the forum for anything that pleases the admininstrators! They are quite easy to please aswell, and as this site grows and grows and develops there will be prizes up for grabs too!
What is the Ranking and Star system? Well, the standard ranking system is as follows:

New Member - 1 Star - 0 Posts 
- Junior Members - 2 Stars - 50 Posts
- Full Member - 3 Stars - 150 Posts
- Senior Member - 4 Stars - 300 Posts
- God - 5 Stars - 1000 Posts
But there are also some custom Ranks made by forum staff for special members, or just members that have asked! Stars for custom ranks are awarded at the administrators discretion.
Rules are fairly liberal but
just for reference, I thought I'd post a few guidelines and rules, just make them official and all...
1) Myself and all other members of staff have the right to delete posts without prior warning. We won't do it "'cos we feel like it" but if it's something we don't agree with and/or find totally pointless in a bad way, it'll go. That's that. So don't winge about it.
2) No illegal talk (within reason) especially anything that'll get us into trouble. This includes hacking, fraud etc. but excludes minor software piracy, discussion of drugs (but no dealing or giving away of), peer to peer technologies and other petty things. Again, I have the right to decide what's acceptable and what's not, and can snap like that at any given moment! 
3) No bitching about myself at all and no bitching about any members of the board for no decent reason! You can bitch about me elsewhere, just not on my own website, ok? I wouldn't write "You suck dick" on your back, so don't do it on my website. Any actual complaints can be posted on the complaints board
4) The SexTalk board is for discussion of sex-related topics, and not for people to go cruising for cyber sex. Go use a chatroom or something
5) The Rants board is for rants about anything that's really bothering you at the moment, mostly personal things. It is not checked for identities, and any IP checks have been disabled. Feel free to log in as anonymous, and feel safe to say what you like aslong as it doesn't break any of the already mentioned rules (including bitching about me)
6) Any attacks on myself, my members or my board will be taken as personal, and we have the *ahem* correct security methods to deal with such retards for past offenders, search for Quassimodem.
